About You
We are truly excited that you have visited Uglow! Our prayer is that you continue to improve your understanding of who Christ is and how important you are… in HIS church! As such, the primary goal of Uglow is to help you connect with Christ…and other people. While we hope to answer most of your questions, we strongly encourage you to find a local church to connect and become involved with.. Why is that so important? 
Consider Hebrews 10:22-25 “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of [our] faith without wavering; (for HE is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”
You see, we can't live this life alone. We can’t claim a deep knowledge and love of CHRIST if we remain behind the closed doors of a retreating heart. We really depend on each other and that is how GOD intended it to be! When someone meets and prays with you , you will be encouraged as they will be too. Service for CHRIST (which we are all called to) means…gathering together with others to help as well as be a blessing...
Sacrificially Supportive
The NAME of CHRIST sparks fire within
Hell’s host as well as others…
who claim their way as soul-ly bent
by flames from Heav’n to light lost lives.
Beyond compelling forces pressed
HIS servants then are covered.
By Crimson’s flow from CHRIST bestowed;
our vessels – parched – HIS blaze ignites!
So shall those bound and dry within
uplift their cups to Glory…
with Hope eternal pressing forth
that HE will fill them past – transformed!
Yet should Fatigue delay their hands
from being raised towards the sky…
Then we, as their supporting cast,
shall hold them up throughout Life’s storms.
Beloved! Look ‘round the space you have
and race towards those Desperate;
who cannot raise their hearts in prayer...
much less their bleeding, broken hands.
Though oft Self feels my stance – the same,
Salvation comes but through HIS NAME
when one – within the Gap – kneels solely
so that another soul….can stand.

Isn’t it a reflex action to look inwardly at our own problems? When life is indeed dire and pressing with all its circumstances, who can blame another for such a view? Simply, make a point (speaking more to myself than any other) to lift up the arms of those beyond brokenness and without strength. In the Exodus 17 we read that whenever Moses’ hands were raised over the battle with the Amalekites, that Israel was winning. When his hands feel due to fatigue, Israel would suffer. So Aaron and Hur “stood in the Gap” so to speak. They held up his hands so that Moses saw the victory which the LORD had won. Aaron and Hur were compelled to act by GOD.
That’s why we gather together! So others will lift us up when we are down…and vice versa!! May we then proactively display HIS compelling…beforehand! Let us join together regularly to encourage, be encouraged and praise the LORD! Amen and amen!
