Attend a Bible Study
Scriptural references: 2 Timothy 2:15: “Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
Romans3:19: “Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God.”
Proverbs 27:17: “As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.”
What’s that mean?
What are we told in these passages?
As in the point mentioned before, we are not to avoid getting together to praise and worship CHRIST. When we got to Church, we learn about GOD and should someone ask us how they can become a Christian, we don’t have to stutter or skit the issue…because we don’t know. We are accountable to GOD as the Great Commission tells us to share the GOOD NEWS… that CHRIST died for us to have eternal life!...
Involvement...Finally, no one becomes a better Christian or is more involved for the LORD….if they stay at home. When have you ever seen a knife sharpen itself? When is someone promoted to the highest position in a company who hasn’t been a student of the profession and studied others who are already successful?...
Consistency...So we must choose Bible study plans so that we create a daily habit, weekly commitment, a monthly plan, and a yearly goal of consistent study of the WORD of GOD...
Training ...We must seek out others to test whether what we THINK is our gift…really IS our gift! We need to further train ourselves to see objectively what a formal Spiritual gift test says about us! By constantly engaging our lives with spiritual articles, Godly videos and songs, and scripturally sound sermons….we will become a fiery Flame for our LORD and Savior! Amen!!!...
